Islamic Family Planner

Calm and rhythm at home, around prayer.

A family planner for the tablet at home that brings prayer times, daily tasks, Qur'an and murajaa together for the whole family.

Sound familiar?

Less reminding. More calm.

The same questions every day. The planner shows what needs to happen: which prayer is next, which tasks are still open and which part of the Qur'an is due today. So children do more and more on their own, and you repeat yourself less.

  • “Have you prayed Fajr?”
  • “Have you brushed your teeth?”
  • “Where is your Qur'an?”
  • “Have you done your murajaa?”

Features

Everything for the family rhythm, on one screen

Only what you need every day. Children tick things off themselves; parents keep the settings behind a PIN.

  • Yusuf's day page: the prayers Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha in a row at the top, with his tasks per part of the day (morning, afternoon and evening) as tiles below.

    Prayers per child

Each child sees their own prayers for today and ticks them off. You choose per child which prayers take part; for toddlers they are off by default.

  • A child's week overview: weekly goal 80 percent, with completed and missed tasks per day.

Tasks per child and per part of the day

Brushing teeth, homework, setting the table: per child, in the morning, afternoon or evening. With a weekly goal and no ranking between children.

  • Yusuf's murajaa planner: today Al-Mulk 1 to Al-Qalam 52, and the portions for the coming days.

    Murajaa and hifdh plannerUnique

Every day the next portion to review or memorise, planned automatically, with the surah names in Arabic too. Ideal alongside Qur'an school.

  • Prayer times

Calculated for your town, with a configurable method and per-prayer adjustments.

  • Adhan

Children tick things off; settings and tasks stay behind the PIN.

  • Up to 10 family members

Parents and children, each with their own avatar and colour.

  • Tablet mode

Link the tablet with a code; it only shows the family screen.

  • Phone and laptop

Parents also use the planner on their own phone or laptop.

  • Tick off offline

If the internet drops, keep ticking things off; everything syncs later.

  • Calm screensaver

Nature photos with Qur'an, hadith or dua, and a dimmed evening mode.

  • Dutch and English

Choose the language per family; parents can also pick their own.

  • No ads

Why Islamic Family Planner

Why one planner?

A regular family planner doesn't know about prayer. A prayer times app and a Qur'an app don't know your children. Islamic Family Planner brings it together.

Frequently asked questions

FAQ

What is Islamic Family Planner?

A family planner for the tablet at home. Prayer times with adhan, prayers and tasks per child and a murajaa and hifdh planner are together on one calm screen, so the whole family sees what needs to happen today.

Which ages is it for?

For the whole family: toddlers, children, teenagers and parents. Young children tick things off with one tap; for toddlers prayers are off by default.

How many family members can I add?

Up to 10 family members, including parents. The number of devices is unlimited.

Does it work on tablet, phone and laptop?

Yes. It works in the browser: on the tablet as the family screen, and parents also use it on their own phone or laptop. You don't need to install anything from an app store.

Can I use more than one tablet?

Yes. You link each tablet with its own code, for example one in the kitchen and one by the front door. You can also unlink a tablet at any time.

Can my child change the settings?

No. On the tablet, children can only tick things off. Tasks, prayer times and settings are behind the parent PIN.

How can I get started?

Join the waitlist now. People on the waitlist are the first to get an invitation at launch. Payment isn't live yet; it starts at launch.

What does it cost and what is the Founding price?

€7.99 per month or €79 per year, including VAT. The Founding price is €59 per year, for as long as you stay a member, for the first 100 families. Everyone on the waitlist gets the first invitation.

What happens to my data?

Your data is stored in the EU and only visible to your family. For children we only store a first name and age group, no date of birth or photos. No ads, and we never sell data.

Which sources do you use?

The Arabic Qur'an text from Tanzil, translations from QuranEnc, hadith from HadeethEnc and duas from Hisnul Muslim. The screen shows the reference; the full attribution is in the app under Settings → Sources. We don't write or translate anything ourselves.

Does it work without internet?

Mostly, yes. The tablet calculates the prayer times itself and you can tick things off offline; as soon as the internet is back, everything syncs. You need internet to link the tablet and to change settings.

When is the launch?

Before Ramadan 2027, which is expected to begin around 8 February 2027. Everyone on the waitlist hears first.

What should I set up on the tablet?

A few things keep the tablet working reliably all day:

  • Keep the tablet on the charger.
  • Turn off sleep mode (or set it to the longest time).
  • In Chrome, turn off Energy Saver and add the planner to the sites that are always kept active.
  • Allow sound for the planner, for the adhan.
  • Install the planner as an app (Chrome: “Install app”).
  • After a restart, one tap on the screen is enough to allow sound again.
  • Android with Fully Kiosk Browser: turn on autoplay; then that tap isn't needed.
